On the night of September 12, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using ballistic and cruise missiles, air-to-ground guided missiles, and 129 attack drones.

The
Russians used Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, launched from the Voronezh and Rostov regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea. From the Black Sea, the enemy fired eight sea-launched “Kalibr” cruise missiles. The enemy also launched six X-59/69 air-to-ground guided missiles from airspace over the Black Sea.

In addition, Russian forces launched 129 Shahed-type attack drones, about half of which were jet-powered, as well as S8000 “Banderol” drones and “Parodia” decoy drones.

Air defense forces managed to shoot down:

In the Black Sea near Odesa, two Azerbaijani sailors were killed on September 9 as a result of a drone attack on the Somali-flagged tugboat TEDY.
