The enemy attacked the Poltava community with a Shahed drone, causing damage
On April 7, 2026, during an air raid alert, Russian occupying forces attacked the Poltava community with a strike UAV.
According to preliminary information from the head of the Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Diakivnych, debris from the enemy drone fell in an open area; however, the blast wave caused damage in the private sector. In particular, damage to windows and roofs was recorded in four residential buildings, as well as one summer house and two outbuildings.
At present, there have been no reports of fatalities or injuries, but specialists continue to inspect the area and document the consequences of yet another act of terror.
Such attacks on the Poltava region have become more frequent: just last week, six people were injured, including three children, as a result of a drone crash in the regional center.
In Obukhiv, a Russian Shahed drone struck a residential building.
As a result of a massive attack on the Kyiv region, one person was killed (video).
