At dawn on 20 January, Russian forces attacked civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region, directing strikes at residential areas and energy facilities.

This was reported by the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

The attack took place in the city of Chornomorsk, where a drone struck a multi-storey residential building, damaging the façade and windows. According to preliminary information, no casualties have been reported.

In addition, the strikes also damaged an energy facility in the Odesa district. Despite the scale of the attacks, there is currently no information about injured persons. This incident is yet another illustration of the Russian forces’ intent to harm civilian infrastructure, which violates international rules of warfare and endangers the lives of civilians.

In Kyiv, significant damage to infrastructure was recorded following a combined overnight attack.

During the night of 20 January, Russian forces carried out an attack on the city of Dnipro, as a result of which local residents were injured.

On the morning of 20 January, the enemy attacked Ukraine with strike drones. Later, warnings were issued about the threat of missile attacks.
