Russia's casualties rose by 1,540 soldiers over the past day
On September 7, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated its figures on Russian military casualties. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have killed 1,540 invaders.
As of September 7, Russia had suffered the following losses in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel—approximately 1,497,980 (+1,540) individuals;
- tanks – 12,332 (+1);
- armored combat vehicles—25,284 (+6);
- artillery systems – 49,311 (+51);
- multiple-launch rocket systems – 2,103 (+7);
- air defense systems – 1,609 (+4);
- aircraft – 441 (+0);
- helicopters – 355 (+0);
- ground-based robotic systems – 2,516 (+9) units;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 502,717 (+1,473) units;
- cruise missiles – 5,070 (+0) units;
- ships/boats – 35 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0);
- Vehicles and tanker trucks – 145,026 (+591) units;
- special equipment – 4,647 (+3) units
