Wildberries will build a warehouse in Uzbekistan for $140 million
The Russian marketplace Wildberries has signed an investment agreement with the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan to build a Class A logistics complex in the Tashkent region. The project, valued at approximately $140 million, involves the construction of a facility with an area of 180,000 square meters between 2027 and 2028.
The company continues to expand its logistics capacity outside Russia to redistribute goods and ensure the economic stability of its partners. In addition to Uzbekistan, the company is implementing large-scale warehouse projects in Kazakhstan with a total area of approximately 260,000 square meters; where complexes are being built in Almaty with an area of over 100,000 square meters and in Astana with an area of 160,000 square meters, with partial commissioning scheduled for 2027.

The Chinese marketplace Poizon is actively entering the Russian market and has disclosed the terms of its cooperation with sellers for the first time. The commission on the platform ranges from 19% to 29%. For the largest Russian marketplaces, this figure can reach 55%.
Wildberries sellers have reported payment delays totaling 20 billion rubles.
Ukraine has disabled 80% of Wildberries’ largest warehouses in Russia.
On the night of August 26, drones launched a second attack on the Wildberries logistics center in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, Russia, after which a massive fire broke out at the facility. According to Russian authorities, the fire covered an area of at least 40,000 square meters, and one employee was injured.
Ukrainian drones simultaneously attacked a Lukoil oil refinery and a Wildberries warehouse in Russia.
As a reminder, the Orsk oil refinery in the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation completely halted operations following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
