Zelenskyy says Russia launched over 390 drones and 34 missiles at Ukraine overnight

Russia carried out a massive overnight attack on Ukraine, launching more than 390 strike drones and 34 missiles, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Telegram.

“Overall, there were more than 390 attack drones and 34 missiles of various types — ballistic, cruise and guided aerial missiles. These figures clearly show that greater protection of lives from Russian strikes is needed. It is important to continue supporting Ukraine. It is important that all agreements on air defence are implemented on time. And it is important that Europe can produce the necessary number of air defence missiles to protect against any threats,” he wrote.

Zelenskyy also said he had discussed strengthening frontline positions with Mykhailo Fedorov.

He further reported an increase in the number of Ukrainian experts in the Middle East.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian forces disrupted a Russian offensive planned for March.

Hundreds of attacks are ongoing along the frontline, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions.

Additionally, Russian forces shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 30 times, injuring one person.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops attacked an ambulance crew with an FPV drone.
