The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Novoshakhtynsk Oil Refinery
On December 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a successful strike on the Novoshakhtynsk Oil Refinery in Russia’s Rostov region.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, guided Storm Shadow missiles were used in the attack.
It is noted that the strike was carried out using Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles.
"Numerous explosions were recorded. The target was hit. The extent of the damage is being clarified," the General Staff reported.
They added that the Novoshakhtynsk plant is one of the largest suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia and is directly involved in supporting the occupying forces.
The facility supplies diesel fuel and aviation kerosene to the occupation army. The total capacity of the refinery’s tanks exceeds 210,000 cubic meters.
