Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up a dam in Pryvillya to stop the advance of Russian troops
Ukrainian forces have released footage of the demolition of a dam in the settlement of Pryvillya in the Donetsk region.
The operation was carried out to slow down the advance of Russian occupiers, according to the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the military-analytical project DeepState.
“Dam blown up! The enemy will not pass!” the soldiers captioned the video.
According to DeepState, the Vasiukivka River, on which Pryvillya is located, flows into the Bakhmutka River near the city of Siversk. The impact of the explosion on the Bakhmutka is considered minimal, but the situation along the Pryvillya–Bondarne–Vasiukivka line remains under control and requires attention.
Pryvillya is located about 20 km from Kramatorsk. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, one combat engagement took place in this direction near Minkivka during the past day.
