The Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russian advance on the outskirts of Hryshyne near Pokrovsk

Attempts by Russian forces to use fog and mist to advance covertly toward the village of Hryshyne, northwest of Pokrovsk, have been unsuccessful.

This was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Airborne Assault Troops on Telegram.

According to military sources, Airborne Assault Forces units are effectively engaging enemy targets even as they approach the settlement, preventing the occupiers from establishing a foothold or launching an offensive.

It is also reported that in the Hryshyne area, Ukrainian defenders eliminated a company-level officer. This led to the disorganization of enemy units and a reduction in their combat capabilities.

According to available information, Russian troops are complaining about difficulties in advancing in this area, as well as a shortage of water and food. There have been reports of occupiers attempting to move through the town in search of food.

Ukrainian defense forces continue to maintain control of the situation and are preventing the enemy from advancing in this direction.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated data on the losses of Russian occupation forces as of the morning of March 31, 2026.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated 9 settlements.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled a large-scale offensive by Russian occupiers, recording a total of 158 combat engagements across the entire front line.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of high activity by Russian drones.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also thwarted a Russian offensive planned for March.
