MMA Fighter and Gangster: Poland Identifies the Attackers of Ukrainians

In Poland, law enforcement officers have detained two suspects in the attack on a Ukrainian couple in Wrocław. They were identified as Tomasz M. and Adam C., nicknamed “Ciczu.” Adam C. is a bare-knuckle boxer and a local gangster who previously served 10 years in prison.

The attacker was identified on surveillance footage by a medical bandage on his left leg. The altercation began in a store, where the Ukrainian woman made a remark to the men; afterward, on the street, the assailants brutally beat her boyfriend while shouting ethnically motivated slurs.

The 27-year-old suspect, Tomasz M., has already been charged with assault and violence motivated by national origin, which carries a sentence of up to 5 years in prison. Adam C. will face similar charges, and authorities are currently searching for the third participant in the attack.

Earlier, Polish police stated that the attack on Ukrainians in Wrocław may have been ethnically motivated.

As a reminder, a Ukrainian couple was brutally beaten in Wrocław, Poland. According to the victim’s mother, the attack occurred after the assailants heard Ukrainian being spoken in a store. Both victims sustained serious injuries, and medical professionals suspect they may have suffered concussions.

The Ukrainian Consulate has asked Polish authorities to urgently locate the attackers who assaulted the Ukrainians in Wrocław.
