Monorail ride
Mayors and delegation representatives took a test ride on the Photon suspended monorail. ECNS describes it as China’s first commercial suspended monorail. During the trip, participants viewed Optics Valley through panoramic windows.

The delegation also visited the laser technology museum of HGTECH, where participants learned more about laser technologies. A separate item on the program was Xiaomi’s smart home appliance factory. According to ECNS, the delegation learned about efficient manufacturing there.
According to the publication, participants stopped near sites along the way to inspect them. ECNS described the route as an introduction to Wuhan’s advanced technologies and smart manufacturing.
