Previously, jellied meat was featured in the ranking, but Indigirka replaced it. Alongside this salad, other traditional dishes from Ukrainian and Russian cuisine, such as kutia, shchi, and rassolnik, also received low ratings. The Icelandic dish svið — half a sheep's head — was named the worst dish in the world.
This ranking may affect the culinary reputation of these dishes and encourage a reassessment of gastronomic preferences and the international image of national cuisines.
