Lithuania has lodged a protest with Russia over the strikes on Lviv

The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lodged a protest with Russia over the strikes on Ukraine, particularly on Lviv and critical infrastructure facilities.

The ministry emphasized that the attacks targeted civilians, infrastructure, and cultural heritage sites—including those on the UNESCO list—and also affected Moldova.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Russia’s war crimes have no statute of limitations and will not go unpunished.

Lithuania explained why the war in Ukraine is draining Russia’s resources.

Lithuania has purchased protective equipment against chemical and nuclear threats worth over €300,000.
