Merz will meet with Zelenskyy in Berlin
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin on April 14.
A German government spokesperson said this in a comment to Suspilne.
According to him, German-Ukrainian government consultations are taking place today at the Federal Chancellery.
"On this occasion, Federal Chancellor (Friedrich — ed.) Merz will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin," the German government spokesperson added.
Earlier, the Italian government announced a meeting between Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the Ukrainian leader, scheduled to take place on April 15 in Rome.
Zelenskyy honored over a thousand defenders of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy has awardedscholarships to the children of slain journalists.
Zelenskyyhonored 34 Ukrainians on Volunteer Day.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored 362 military personnel with state awards, 176 of them posthumously. The awards were granted for courage, dedication, and the defense of the country’s sovereignty. Among the honors are orders, medals, and the “Cross of Military Merit.”
