Gulf foreign ministers plan to meet Iranian foreign minister in Oman
According to the Jerusalem Post, foreign ministers of Persian Gulf countries plan to meet with Iran’s foreign minister in the Omani city of Salalah. The purpose of the meeting is to seek support for an interim arrangement on organizing shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
Meeting in Salalah
The Financial Times, citing two people familiar with the plans, reported that the meeting is scheduled for Monday. According to the publication, Oman and Iran are promoting the interim shipping agreement.
Reuters said it was unable to immediately independently verify the information about the planned meeting.

Vessel traffic in the strait
At the beginning of the week, vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz slowed after Iran threatened on Monday to respond to any new U.S. attacks. According to Kpler, seven vessels carrying commercial cargo passed through the strait on Monday, compared with eight the previous day.
Iran also warned that energy infrastructure in Persian Gulf countries, including U.S. oil and gas interests, is vulnerable.
