Moldova summoned the Russian ambassador over falling drone and missile debris
The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Russian Ambassador Oleg Ozerov over the flight of five drones and missiles over the country’s territory. According to the ministry, they exploded near populated areas in four districts.
The Moldovan side handed the Russian diplomat a note of protest and emphasized that the incident posed a threat to the lives and safety of citizens.
In addition, falling debris caused fires and resulted in property damage. The Moldovan Foreign Ministry called on Russia to respect the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and to prevent similar incidents from recurring.

On the morning of September 30, a drone flew through Moldovan airspace. It subsequently crashed and exploded near the village of Gyrbovets in the Anenii Noi district.
Earlier, Russian drones had again entered the airspace of Romania and Moldova.
A Russian military helicopter violated Poland’s airspace.
