Ms Rachel pledges $1 million for Gaza’s children — Jerusalem Post
Israeli publication Jerusalem Post reported that children’s performer Ms Rachel, whose real name is Rachel Accurso, pledged to donate $1 million to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). This amount is intended to match rapper Macklemore’s donation of the same size.
Macklemore’s donation
According to the publication, Macklemore’s $1 million represented his entire net earnings from the Loop tour by British singer Ed Sheeran. The rapper’s donation was distributed among several organizations, including PCRF, HEAL Palestine, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Medical Aid for Palestinians, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and Anera.
Ms Rachel also called on wealthy white celebrities to make similar contributions. According to Jerusalem Post, Accurso has supported children in Gaza since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas and has held fundraisers to help residents of the Strip.

Previous fundraiser
In May 2024, Accurso announced a fundraiser for children living in conflict zones. She said that money she earned from videos for young children would be directed to Save the Children’s emergency fund. The assistance was intended for children in Gaza, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Ukraine.
Macklemore has long supported Palestinian initiatives. The publication also writes that he was removed from the music program of Sheeran’s tour after remarks made from the stage in which he criticized Israel’s military operation in Gaza.
