Yegor Maslennikov, head of object1—the largest Ukrainian real estate developer in the UAE—is suspected of tax evasion
Yegor Maslennikov, director of an investment fund, has been notified of charges related to fictitious transactions and the sale of real estate without paying taxes.
This was reported by Telegram channels.
According to the investigation, the director of Object1, the largest Ukrainian developer in the UAE, organized a tax evasion scheme between 2019 and 2023 by documenting financial and business transactions with companies that appear to be fictitious and used for transit purposes.
This involves the conclusion of fictitious contracts without the intent to actually conduct business activities, as well as the transfer of funds totaling over 296 million UAH.
In addition, during 2020, the company sold at least 48 real estate properties, the proceeds from which were not properly reflected in its tax returns.
As a result of these actions, over 53.3 million UAH in income tax was not paid to the state budget.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect was notified of suspicion of intentional evasion of income tax on an especially large scale.
