Princess Eugenie's newborn daughter has joined Generation Beta
The newborn daughter of Princess Eugenie, niece of King Charles III of Great Britain, has become one of two members of the British royal family who belong to the so-called “Generation Beta.”
“Generation Beta” is a term used to refer to children born between 2025 and 2039.
Members of this generation are expected to grow up in a world where artificial intelligence will be an integral part of everyday life.
It is also predicted that they may become the first generation, a significant portion of which will potentially live to see the 22nd century, and will witness the continued proliferation of self-driving cars and other technologies.
Eugenie’s newborn daughter became the second member of the British royal family to belong to the Beta generation.
The first was her cousin Athena Mapelli-Mozzi, who was born last year. Athena is the younger daughter of Princess Beatrice, Eugenie’s older sister, and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi.
The newborn girl is the third child of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank. The couple also has two sons—five-year-old August and three-year-old Ernest.
Eugenie announced the birth of her daughter on social media by posting a photo of her.
“Jack and I are so happy to announce the arrival of our daughter Brooksbank! We absolutely love our little girl,” the princess wrote.
The baby girl was born on August 3, 2026, at 6:20 p.m. at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.
Buckingham Palace also released an official statement regarding the new addition to the family.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe birth of their daughter, who was born on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 6:20 p.m. at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal. Their Majesties the King and Queen, as well as other members of the royal family, were delighted to hear the news,” the palace statement reads.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are currently 15th in line to the British throne.
Thus, the newborn girl has become yet another member of the new generation of the British royal family, who will grow up in an era of rapid development in artificial intelligence and other technologies.
