Poland has deported 11 people suspected of working for Russia
Polish intelligence agencies have detained nine Ukrainian citizens and two Belarusian citizens suspected of participating in Russian influence operations. It was decided to immediately deport all of them from Polish territory.
According to Tomasz Siemoniak, Poland’s Minister-Coordinator of Special Services, since the fall of 2025, the detainees have been recruiting participants for protests among Ukrainian refugees residing in the country and paying them for their participation in these events.
The Polish Internal Security Agency stated that these activities were organized and financed from Russia. According to the intelligence agency’s assessment, this was an attempt to exert informational and psychological influence on Ukrainian migrants in Poland.
The arrests were carried out by officers of the Polish Internal Security Agency in cooperation with the Border Guard.
