The Lithuanian Prime Minister has set a condition for dialogue with Belarus

Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė stated that closer ties with Belarus are possible only if Minsk demonstrates goodwill.

This was reported by LRT.

According to her, Lithuania is ready for dialogue but expects concrete steps from the Belarusian side.

At the same time, Ruginienė emphasized that this does not mean a return to the pre-war relations.

She noted that only a limited resumption of contacts at the technical level is possible, and only if certain conditions are met.

These include resolving issues of illegal migration, smuggling, and the situation with cargoes detained on Belarusian territory.

Lithuania is asking Greece to extradite a suspect linked to Russia who is accused of planning political assassinations.

Lithuania lodged a protest with Belarus following a new incident involving weather balloons.
