Israel's statement

Israel said it had struck operatives and facilities of the Hezbollah group. The Israeli side described this as a response to a drone attack that, according to its version, the Iran-backed group had carried out the previous day against Israeli military personnel near a strategic ridge in southern Lebanon.

Israel reported no losses on its side and accused Hezbollah of a “blatant violation.”
