President Trump hosts Xi Jinping at state dinner in the US — CNBC
US President Donald Trump on Thursday hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping at a state dinner in the United States. The list of attendees released by the White House included more than 100 US officials, company executives, and their spouses, CNBC Top News reports.
The list also includes First Lady Melania Trump and the Chinese leader’s wife, Peng Liyuan. US administration representatives include Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and special envoy Steve Witkoff.
Chinese delegation
Chinese officials named on the list include Xi Jinping’s chief of staff Cai Qi, Chinese Communist Party Politburo member Wang Yi, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China He Lifeng, Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission Zheng Shanjie, Commerce Minister Wang Wentao, Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu, and Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng.

Xi Jinping arrived in the United States on Wednesday and, according to CNBC, was expected to leave the country on Friday. This is his first state visit to the United States since Barack Obama’s presidency more than a decade ago.
Technology and financial company executives
The attendee list included Nvidia head Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Apple board chairman Tim Cook, AMD CEO Lisa Su, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and co-founder Greg Brockman. Also listed were Google co-founder Sergey Brin, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Amazon chairman Jeff Bezos, and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
Other business guests included BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Blackstone head Stephen Schwarzman, JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, as well as executives from General Motors, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, ExxonMobil, Pfizer, Visa, Mastercard, and LVMH. Anthropic is not mentioned on the list. Earlier, CNBC, citing a person familiar with the matter, reported that they were not aware of invitations for Chinese companies to join Xi Jinping’s delegation.
