Russian drones entered the airspace of Romania and Moldova

During Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine, Russian drones violated the airspace of Moldova and Romania. Drones were reported to have crashed on the territory of both countries.

"Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine once again affected Moldova this morning: four Russian drones violated our airspace, and at least one exploded in the north. Russia’s war poses a threat to all of Europe. We condemn this war and stand with Ukraine,” said Moldovan leader Maia Sandu in a statement. 

Romania

There are also reports of a drone crash in Romania.

This occurred in a forest near the village of Solca. Authorities decided to suspend classes in schools in four localities until 10:00 a.m.

The Romanian Ministry of Defense stated that the drone remained in the air for about four minutes before crashing near the village of Solca in Suceava County.

There were no casualties.
