Xi Jinping and Donald Trump Discussed Ukraine at the White House – Associated Press

The leaders of China and the United States, Xi Jinping and Donald Trump, held talks at the White House. During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Ukraine, as well as issues related to the Middle East and the Korean Peninsula.

 

According to an official report from the Chinese government, the two sides also agreed to mutually support each other in hosting upcoming summits—the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in November in China and the G20 summit in Florida.

Following the meeting, Xi Jinping expressed his intention to build constructive, strategic, and stable relations between Beijing and Washington, emphasizing that this would benefit both countries as well as the entire world.
