On the morning of Monday, June 22, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will officially announce his resignation as head of government and release a clear timeline for the upcoming reshuffle of the current cabinet.

One current government official commented to the publication on the current situation in the upper echelons of power: “Logically, the best option for both Andy and Keir would be for this to happen in September. Andy doesn’t have a team ready to move into Downing Street, and he needs time to prepare. On the other hand, this would also allow Keir to prepare for his departure.”
