Trump Reveals When He Will Visit Ukraine – Video

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he is ready to visit Ukraine “at the appropriate time,” but believes it would be best to do so after the Russian-Ukrainian war has ended. 

He made this remark during a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara, jokingly adding that the U.S. Secret Service would not approve such a trip under the current circumstances.

During the talks, the American leader emphasized the U.S.’s readiness to offer security guarantees to save lives. In particular, Trump noted that Washington could help defend Ukraine’s airspace after the end of hostilities, although he expressed hope that, provided a peace agreement is reached, such a need would disappear.
