German investigators found DNA traces at the site of a suspected drone attack on a Ukrainian aircraft at Leipzig/Halle Airport. According to German media reports, this genetic material matches a sample previously collected in connection with the arson attack on a DHL logistics center in Leipzig. However, law enforcement officials do not yet have evidence that these two incidents are linked, and the identity of the person whose DNA was found remains unknown.
New details have emerged during the investigation into the incident at Leipzig/Halle Airport. The case involves a suspected drone attack on a Ukrainian aircraft. German investigators found traces of DNA at the scene. Law enforcement conducted an analysis and determined that the genetic material found matches another sample already in the investigative database.
This sample was collected back in 2024. At that time, it was discovered as part of an investigation into an arson at a DHL logistics center in Leipzig. No connection to the older case has been established yet
