In Poland, two freight trains ran into concrete blocks that had been placed there by unknown individuals

In the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland, two freight trains traveling in opposite directions struck concrete blocks that had been placed on the tracks. 

As a result of the incident in the town of Jedlanka, no one was injured, and the trains did not derail; however, the front protective components of both locomotives were damaged. Law enforcement and special services, including a counterterrorism unit, were on the scene.

No explosive devices were found during the inspection. The prosecutor’s office has ruled out a terrorist motive and is treating the incident as an act of vandalism, as the concrete blocks were taken from a station that had been dismantled nearby. The investigation is ongoing under the charge of creating a risk of a railway disaster.

Polish law enforcement is investigating the arson of the defense industry company WB Electronics in Skarżysko-Kamienna, in central Poland. The plant manufactures unmanned aerial systems. The fire broke out on August 31, and the damage has been preliminarily estimated at at least 15 million zlotys, or 3.5 million euros.

A fire broke out at a construction site near a future nuclear power plant in Sławków, Poland. Police confirmed that equipment at the site was deliberately set on fire. Law enforcement officials are already working to identify those involved.
