Saudi Arabia announces Riyadh Season 2026 start date — Asharq Al-Awsat

Riyadh Season 2026, a 10-week programme of sports, music and entertainment events, will begin in Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, on 21 October. Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, announced the opening date of the seventh season, Asharq Al-Awsat reports.

Sports, concerts and shows

The Riyadh Season 2026 programme will include international boxing and wrestling matches, UFC fights, as well as the Six Kings Slam tennis tournament. The programme will also feature concerts, theatre and comedy shows, and events for children and families.

Alalshikh presented the programme in a promotional video. According to him, the sports, entertainment and arts events are intended to strengthen Riyadh’s position as a venue for major events and guests from different countries.

Main venues of the season

One of the season’s main zones will once again be Boulevard World, where the cultures and locations of different countries will be presented in one space. Boulevard City promises new content, while Wonder Garden will offer visitors rides and other activities.

Other announced venues and events include The Groves, Farmers' Market and the Ana Arabia exhibition at VIA Riyadh. Events will take place at several locations across the capital. The season will be held under the slogan Big Time.
