Hungary has accused Facebook of bias against Orbán

The Hungarian government has accused Facebook of political bias against Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

This was reported by Politico.

The government claims that the platform’s algorithms allegedly work against the ruling party and promote opposition content, particularly posts by politician Péter Magyar.

Although Orbán’s page has more followers, his opponent’s audience is significantly more active—users interact with his posts more frequently.

In addition, government officials stated that for a certain period, users were unable to like the prime minister’s posts, which may indicate restrictions on content visibility.

Meta rejected the allegations, emphasizing that algorithms work the same for all users and that Orbán’s account faces no restrictions.

As a reminder, despite Orbán’s account being blocked, Ukraine will receive 90 billion: IPA President Galina Heylo on EU plans to finance the country.

Balázs Orbán, political director to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, assured that Ukraine does not pose a military threat to his country.
