Moldova's Ministry of Defense reported that three Russian missiles and two drones had struck the country
During Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine on the morning of October 3, five aerial targets exploded over Moldovan territory. Based on an analysis of the data, they were identified as three missiles and two drones.
“In connection with the Russian Federation’s massive attacks on Ukraine this morning, the National Army’s Air Operations Service reports that, based on an analysis of data on flights over national airspace, in addition to the five aircraft — three missiles and two drones that exploded on the ground—another unauthorized flight was detected,” the statement reads.
According to the Moldovan Ministry of Defense, another unauthorized object crossed the country’s airspace at 8:04 a.m.
It entered Moldovan airspace from the direction of the town of Udobne in Ukraine’s Odesa Oblast and was heading toward Palanka.
By 08:05, the object had left Moldova’s airspace and was heading toward Bilyayivka in the Odesa region.
Thus, the object remained in Moldova’s airspace for about one minute.
