Video: In Alaska, a bear swam up to a fisherman's boat and caught a salmon
On a river in the U.S. state of Alaska, a grizzly bear swam up to a boat carrying a fisherman and began catching fish nearby. The man captured the unusual encounter on video.
The footage shows the bear calmly swimming up behind the boat, catching salmon, and staying away from the fisherman. The man himself remained calm during the encounter, continued filming, and even smiled.
Another bear, which was a little further away from the boat, also appeared in the footage.
The video was created by fishing guide Carter Brown, who works in Alaska and runs a fishing gear rental business. On his Instagram page, he regularly posts videos from his work and encounters with wildlife.
In particular, in July of this year, Brown shared a video in which he captured three female bears with their cubs searching for food on the opposite bank of the river.

As a reminder, in the Japanese town of Shizukuishi, authorities have been searching for two weeks for an Asian black bear that regularly wanders into homes in search of food. The animal opens refrigerators, scatters food, and seems to have a particular fondness for sweets.
On the evening of June 18, a wild bear was spotted on the streets of Przemyśl, Poland. The predator roamed the city center for several hours, prompting local authorities and police to urge residents to be cautious and not approach the animal.
