Video: In Brazil, a parrot disrupted a soccer game by flying onto the field

During a Brazilian Junior Cup match between Flamengo and Ceará, an unusual incident occurred—a parrot flew onto the field, forcing the referee to temporarily suspend the game.

The curious incident took place in the 17th minute of the match. A blue-and-yellow macaw—a species of parrot common in South America—flew onto the field.

The bird suddenly flew into a Flamengo defender, causing the player to fall to the ground. After that, the macaw continued to fly over the field, interfering with the players.

During one of its flights, the parrot flew so low that one of the players had to duck sharply and drop to his knees to avoid a collision. The bird eventually left the field, and the match resumed.

Despite the unplanned pause, the match ended with a 2-1 victory for Ceará.

This was reported by The Sun.
