Zelenskyy met with Moldova's foreign minister
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi. The parties discussed important issues of bilateral cooperation and further collaboration between the two countries.
On Monday, August 3, Zelenskyy met with Moldovan Foreign Minister Popșoi, who was attending Ukraine’s annual ambassadors’ conference.
“His presence reflects that, in many respects, the foreign policy priorities of Ukraine and Moldova coincide, especially in the areas of security and European aspirations,” the Ukrainian president noted.
He emphasized the importance of Ukraine and Moldova continuing to move forward together on the full range of shared challenges.
They also discussed a number of practical projects that “can and should be implemented, particularly in the infrastructure and energy sectors.”
He announced this on social media.
Zelenskyy announced new agreements with the U.S. regarding missile systems.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy announced a new position for Ukraine’s ambassador to Poland.
Ukraine will make every effort to force Russia to end the war before the start of winter 2026. To this end, Kyiv will continue to intensify diplomatic and sanctions pressure on the aggressor in cooperation with international partners.
The EU has allowed Ukraine to purchase Chinese drone components using credit funds.
