Actress Lucy Davis announced that she has terminal breast cancer
Actress Lucy Davis, known for her role as Don Tinsley in the original series *The Office*, has revealed that she has stage 4 incurable breast cancer. The 53-year-old actress shared the news in an Instagram post, according to *The Guardian World*.
According to Davis, she was diagnosed with the disease about a year and a half ago. The cancer has metastasized to her bones, including her spine, right thigh, and ribs. She also stated that it is too late for chemotherapy.
The actress explained that the pain makes it difficult for her to stand or walk for long periods, so she sometimes uses a wheelchair. Davis noted that she is trying to live the time she has left as fully as possible.

According to her, humor has been a major source of support. Davis asked her friends and family to joke with her as much as possible and not treat her like a sick person. She added that she isn’t afraid of what lies ahead and wants to continue advocating for animal rights and, if possible, continue acting.
In addition to her role in *The Office*, Davis played Hayley Jordan for nearly ten years in the BBC Radio 4 radio drama *The Archers*. She also appeared in the 2004 comedy *Shaun of the Dead* and the Netflix series *Chilling Adventures of Sabrina*.
