One Killed and Nine Injured in Russian Shelling of Kherson Region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces struck settlements across Kherson Oblast. One person was killed and nine others were injured, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration.
Attacked Settlements
During the day, Russian drone strikes, air raids, and artillery shelling targeted the following communities: Antonivka, Komyshany, Molodizhne, Naddniprianske, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Daryivka, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Mykilske, Novotiahynka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Bilozirka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Rozlyv, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Zmiivka, Rakivka, Urozhayne, Novokairy, Zolota Balka, Ukrainka, Chervone, Piatykhatky, Tiahynka, Burhunka, Lvivove, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Vesele, Kozatske, and the city of Kherson.
Targets of Russian Attacks
Russian troops struck critical and social infrastructure as well as civilian residential areas, damaging two multi-story buildings and six private homes. Occupiers also damaged a penitentiary facility, a gas pipeline, a private garage, and vehicles. Among the casualties, one was a child.
Two people were evacuated yesterday from recently liberated communities in the region.
Other Attacks in Ukraine
Russian forces carried out more than 10 drone and artillery attacks across Kamianskyi, Synelnykivskyi, Samarskyi, and Nikopolskyi districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, damaging civilian infrastructure.
In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russian troops launched 624 strikes across 36 settlements. Two people were injured in Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts.
On 3 March, Russian forces struck Chuhuiv in Kharkiv Oblast with a Geran-2 drone.
Russia has also attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, causing widespread power outages, and targeted Odesa region with drones, damaging port facilities.
