There is a temporary shortage of medicines at Kyiv's municipal pharmacies
The network of municipal pharmacies in Kyiv is experiencing a decrease in the availability of certain imported medications and drugs used to treat chronic diseases. This was reported by the municipal enterprise “Pharmacy.”
The enterprise explained that the shortage was caused by disruptions in the supply chain resulting from damage to the warehouses of manufacturers and suppliers. This has affected the timely delivery of medications to the network’s 82 pharmacies.
Currently, the municipal enterprise “Farmatsiya” is working with partners to replenish its inventory, and demand for medications is gradually stabilizing. The availability of medications will increase as supplies are restored, so residents of the capital are urged not to stockpile medications unnecessarily.
This was stated by the “Pharmacy” Municipal Enterprise.
In some regions of Ukraine, supplies of certain medications are dwindling amid rising demand. In some pharmacies, current stock may last only a few weeks.
