The online casino SlotCity was fined 4.3 million hryvnia

The Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries conducted an unscheduled inspection of the online casino SlotCity. As a result, the company "All City Games," which operates under the SlotCity brand, was fined 4.323 million hryvnias.

This was reported with reference to a statement by Gennady Novikov, head of PlayCity, the State Agency for the Control of the Gambling and Lottery Business in Ukraine.

“We fined All City Games ₴4.3 million following the results of an unscheduled inspection. A player contacted us and reported that a gaming account could be topped up using another person’s card. In light of this, we initiated an unscheduled inspection of the gambling operator,” Novikov wrote.

The unscheduled inspection of the gambling operator served as the basis for the financial sanctions. The Commission initiated an investigation after one of the players officially contacted it. He reported that the casino’s online system allows a customer’s gaming account to be topped up using a bank card belonging to another person.
