A Ukrainian manufacturer will supply 2,000 FPV drones to the Pentagon

Ukrainian Defense Drones Tech Corp., which represents the Ukrainian manufacturer F-Drones in the United States, has signed a contract with the Pentagon to supply 2,000 F10 FPV drones. The agreement provides for the transfer of the drones to the U.S. Department of Defense and marks another step in the cooperation between Ukrainian manufacturers and international partners.

It is noted that the parties currently have a signed supply contract. At the same time, the application for an export license is under review by the State Export Control Service and the Interagency Export Control Commission.

"The F10 drone took sixth place in the first phase of Drone Dominance—a U.S. program where the military tests drones and purchases the best ones. The F10 received 72.9 points out of 100. The table of winners indicates that the Pentagon plans to purchase two thousand drones," the report states.

It is claimed that the manufacturer plans to allocate the funds received under the contract to research and development, as well as to localize the production of components in Ukraine that meet the requirements of U.S. national defense legislation.

The process of obtaining an export license is being facilitated by the state-owned company "Spetstechnoexport."

F-Drones will also participate in the second phase of the Drone Dominance program, which begins in August. Forty-eight companies have been invited to this stage. The maximum number of winners will be ten manufacturers, from whom the U.S. military plans to purchase a total of 60,000 drones.
