“K-2” drones destroyed 848 invaders despite freezing conditions on the Lyman front

Fierce fighting continues on the Lyman front despite harsh winter conditions.

The situation on the front lines was reported by Mykhailo Perets, Head of Communications of the 20th Separate “K-2” Unmanned Systems Brigade, on the air of Army TV.

Freezing temperatures and heavy snow significantly complicate logistics and the operation of unmanned systems, but this does not stop either the Ukrainian forces or the enemy.

According to him, Russian troops continue attempts to assault Ukrainian Defense positions despite the harsh weather. The enemy command keeps sending small infantry groups to the front, trying to infiltrate Ukrainian positions.

The “K-2” personnel detect these areas and maximize the use of strike assets to eliminate the enemy before they reach Ukrainian lines.

“Right now, the frost and snow are very strong, which affects both us and the enemy,” Mykhailo Perets explained. “It complicates logistics and drone flights due to technical reasons. However, even under these conditions, our operators continue to work effectively.”

According to the officer, last month was a record for the unit — the brigade destroyed or neutralized 848 invaders, the highest number in the unit’s history.

It is worth noting that SBS destroyed 5 Russian air defense systems in 48 hours.

Additionally, the Ukrainian SBS eliminated 59 enemy drone launch points.
