Two people killed in Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of a night-time drone attack
During the night, Russian drones attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the strike, two people were killed and others were injured.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
“Overnight, the enemy attacked the Vasylkivska community of the Synelnykove district with drones. A 68-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were killed. Two more people were injured — a 47-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man were hospitalised in moderate condition,” he said.
Fires broke out following the attack. Three private houses were damaged, and another one was completely destroyed. Outbuildings, cars, a disused building and an administrative facility were damaged. A power line was also affected.
Nikopol district was also targeted — including the city of Nikopol, as well as the Marhanets, Myriv and Chervonohryhorivka communities. The aggressor used FPV drones and Grad multiple launch rocket systems. Infrastructure and a power line were damaged.
Dnipropetrovsk region has declared a day of mourning following the strike on a bus carrying DTEK miners.
Earlier, Russian occupiers attacked border areas of the Chernihiv region.
Russian forces also targeted a vehicle belonging to municipal workers in Donetsk region.
