Number of injured in strike on minibus in Kherson rises to 20
On Wednesday, March 11, the Russian army carried out a targeted strike on civilian transport in the Dnipro District, Kherson.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
As of 2:30 p.m., the number of injured had risen to 20 people, including a 17-year-old teenager. Most of the victims are middle-aged women and men who sustained severe blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
“Women aged 49, 64, 58, 37, 45 and 57, as well as men aged 41, 48 and 60, were taken to hospital. At least one victim remains in serious condition,” the regional administration said in a statement.
Doctors continue to provide emergency medical assistance to the injured, and the hospitalization of new victims is ongoing as more people seek medical help.
Later, a 59-year-old woman with blast injuries was also brought to a medical facility and is currently under doctors’ supervision.
Earlier, Russian forces attacked energy infrastructure in Sumy Oblast, leaving parts of the region without electricity.
Russian troops also struck a meat processing plant in Kharkiv, where three women remain in serious condition.
