In Chernihiv region, Russian drone strikes hit ambulance – two medics injured
In Semenivka, Russian forces attacked an ambulance, injuring two medics, aged 47 and 54, who are currently hospitalized.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, reported that the enemy drone struck the vehicle as the medics were returning from a call.
"The ambulance was damaged. A deliberate strike on people saving lives," he said.
In addition, Russian forces struck a music school with a Molniya drone and attacked an energy facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi, leaving several settlements without power. In total, the aggressor carried out 31 attacks on Chernihiv Regionin the past 24 hours.
It is recalled that in Nikopol, Russian troops targeted an ambulance, injuring medical personnel. In Kyiv, a repeated drone attack killed a medic and destroyed an ambulance.
On the night of 9 January (from 07:30 p.m. on 8 January), the enemy carried out a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, using strike drones, sea-launched, and land-based missiles.
