On the Hulyaipilske axis, saboteurs disguised as civilians were eliminated — State Border Guard Service
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that on the Hulyaipilske axis, a Russian sabotage group disguised as civilians attempted to infiltrate the rear of Ukrainian defenders but was detected and destroyed.
According to the SBGS, on December 10 a group of men in civilian clothing approached the positions of Ukrainian border guards. They observed the defenders for some time and later, taking advantage of bad weather, attempted to bypass the positions.
During their movement, a radio set carried by the saboteurs activated, allowing them to be identified as members of the occupying forces.
As a result, two men — members of the sabotage group — were eliminated. Under their civilian clothes, they were wearing the uniforms of the Russian armed forces.
It is worth recalling why the new stage of the war is dangerous.
Additionally, units of the Defense Forces conducted an organized withdrawal from part of their positions near the villages of Lysivka and Sukhyi Yar, close to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Donetsk region.
