In the Kherson region, Russian drones attacked a humanitarian aid distribution point, there is a fatality

Russian troops attacked a humanitarian aid distribution point in the village of Orlove, Kherson region, using drones. As a result of the enemy strike, there is one fatality and civilians were injured.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

“Russian terrorists attacked the humanitarian aid distribution point in the village of Orlove, Kherson district. The occupiers directed at least three drones at the building where local residents were receiving essential supplies,” Prokudin said.

According to the head of the OVA, the attack killed a 64-year-old man. In addition, a 79-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man were injured. The injured sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.

An emergency medical team delivered the wounded to the hospital. Doctors assess their condition as moderate, and the victims are receiving all necessary assistance.

Russian troops shell settlements in the Kherson region daily from various types of weapons. Due to constant attacks, injuries and deaths among civilians are regularly recorded in the region.

On 5 January, Russian occupiers struck Dnipro with drones, causing a fire and damage to one city enterprise.

During the day on 5 January, Russian troops carried out several strikes on Kharkiv, preliminarily reported in the Slobidskyi district.

Russian occupiers attacked an energy generation facility in the Donetsk region on the night of 5 January. As a result of the drone attacks, the city of Slavutych was completely left without power.
