Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated 9 settlements in the Oleksandrivsk direction

Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a successful offensive operation, pushing Russian occupying troops out of fortified positions.

As a result of intense fighting in the Oleksandrivsk direction, a number of settlements were de-occupied.

Artem Klyap, commander of a drone systems company of the 95th Polissia Air Assault Brigade, said that the assault was extremely difficult due to the enemy’s level of preparation.

Russian forces had managed in advance to build a powerful network of trenches, deep dugouts, and well-protected shelters.

Despite concrete and earthen fortifications, Ukrainian paratroopers managed to break through the front line.

A key factor in the success was clear coordination between reconnaissance units and assault groups, which made it possible to catch the enemy off guard.

The serviceman explained:
“The use of our UAV units and the rapid advance of our assault groups. The enemy was disoriented and unable to bring in reserves in time during the first few days. But now they have managed to deploy reserves.”

Currently, the occupiers are trying to regain lost positions by sending reinforcements in small groups.

For mobility, the enemy is using motorcycles, but Ukrainian drone operators are effectively detecting and eliminating these targets before they reach the front line.

Artem Klyap added that although the enemy has become more active,
“reserves are mostly moving in small groups on motorcycles, but we manage to detect and destroy them. At the moment, this is not a major problem.”

It is worth noting that Ukrainian counterattacks are forcing Russia to change its offensive plans.

Also, in the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces repelled a mechanized Russian assault and destroyed equipment.
