Oryol, Tolyatti, and Rostov were hit by missile attacks overnight
On the night of December 19, the Russian cities of Oryol, Tolyatti, and Rostov-on-Don experienced missile attacks.
Local residents reported two powerful explosions which, according to preliminary information, were caused by unidentified missiles. The governor of the Rostov region confirmed the air attack, noting that the consequences were felt in several populated areas where civilian infrastructure was damaged.
As a result of the attacks in Rostov, power outages occurred in some districts due to damage to a high-voltage power transmission line.
In particular, in Tolyatti, local residents published videos showing a fire at a strategically important chemical plant, which is one of the world’s largest producers of ammonia.
These events continue to highlight the difficult situation in Russia, where repeated drone and missile attacks are taking place. It should be noted that similar incidents were recorded earlier, including in November in Oryol.
On the night of December 17, a new series of drone attacks was recorded in Russia.
Previously, as a result of a drone attack on Moscow, airports were forced to suspend operations.
On the night of December 17, 2025, units of the Defense Forces, using Deep Strike capabilities, struck the infrastructure of the Slavyansky oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Krai.
