Russia attacks energy infrastructure in Mykolaiv Region, woman seriously injured

On the night of 27 January, Russian forces carried out a drone attack on Mykolaiv Region, targeting energy infrastructure facilities.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.

According to him, in the Olshanske community, civilian buildings were damaged as a result of the attack and falling debris from downed UAVs.

“In the Olshanske community, one private house was destroyed and two others were damaged as a result of the attack and falling debris from downed UAVs,” Kim said.

As a result of the shelling, a 59-year-old woman was injured. Her condition is assessed as serious, and she has been hospitalised in Mykolaiv, where doctors are providing all necessary medical assistance.

The consequences of the strike are being clarified, and relevant services are working at the scene.

On the same night, Russian forces carried out a large-scale drone attack on Odesa, hitting residential buildings almost in the city centre, in the Khadzhibei district.

Earlier on Tuesday morning, 27 January, Russian troops struck an infrastructure facility in Lviv region.

The day before, Russian forces launched another missile strike on critical infrastructure in Kharkiv Region, causing large-scale emergency power outages in a number of settlements.
