Russian occupiers shelled residential buildings in Kyiv Region
During the night into Thursday, Russian forces launched another strike on the Kyiv region.
The scale of the destruction was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
The Bucha district suffered the most — according to preliminary data, at least eight private houses were damaged there. Several homes had windows blown out, with parts of façades and roofs destroyed.
Local residents are already receiving the necessary assistance — emergency services and municipal crews are working on site.
According to Kalashnyk, peaceful settlements where ordinary families live came under enemy fire. He stressed that Russian troops deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, causing damage not only to property but also threatening the lives of civilians.
“The enemy has once again attacked the Kyiv region. Under fire from the terrorist state are the homes of ordinary people, their peace and their lives,” Kalashnyk said.
He added that rescuers have been working at the scene since early morning, dealing with the aftermath of the strike and helping people restore their homes.
In Kyiv a Russian drone fell on a private house during an attack.
In addition, eight people were injured as a result of an enemy strike on the Kharkiv region, including children.
